The GIYC also offers a platform to promote dialogue with the UN Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, within its mandate, in order to direct its attention to the conditions of indigenous youth. During the UNPFII sessions, the GIYC meets with the UNSR to present several cases of human rights violations from different regions.
